How old do you have to be to get an IUD ??

I'm 15 and I'm getting an IUD. I have awful periods, and my doctor thinks it'll help. It's a misconception that they'll only put an IUD in you if you're a virgin. All you have to do is talk to your doctor about it and be aware of possible effects.

Not sure, but lots of young women (including me) have one. I'm 23, but I have friends who got it at 20. Just ask your doctor. :)
