is anybody a Canadian realtor?

We're looking to sell our home and buy a new one. My husband is an electrician which can be seasonal so the banks have told us to wait until he gets his first paycheck (next Thursday) from his new job and we should be good to go. Problem is we found a house we love today!! With the market we know it won't last. What can we do!?
