OPKs and wth they mean 😔😑😔😑

I am using the Easy@Home brand OPKs and Pregnancy tests.

Any thoughts or comments about them?

I took an OPK tonight for the hell of it (I had never taken one before and my period is very late with negative pregnancy tests and so I just wanted to use SOMETHING since I paid the money for 100 LH & 20 HCG tests!) and within the 3 minute window the instructions say to wait, the second line was there but not as dark as the control. Thats a negative result.

I have questions!

1. Why does the second line appear if it is negative?

2. The line became as dark as the control after 5 or so minutes, is that still a negative or is it a positive?

3. Does this mean I am going to ovulate soon? Should I be having sex?

4. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE DUMB ALL OF THIS DOWN FOR ME BECAUSE I AM SEVERELY CONFUSED AND BECOMING DISCOURAGED! I want to cry, I am so overwhelmed 😔😩😔😩

I really wish I had someone to talk to about all of this, my only outlet is the Glow community. *sigh*
