Not Ready?

Question

So my boyfriend and I were kissing pretty passionately, then he started to get a little bit too intense. The thing is, I'm not really sure if I love him. I pushed him off and told him I wasn't ready for that yet, but I'm just not sure if I want him to be my first. Any advice?

I agree with the other comments. And ill add something my dad always told me "an upper persuasion leads to a lower invasion". I saw another comment that mentioned not doing anything until u are 100% comfortable. And I thought I'd add specifically to that with a side note (food for thought).

Both your hormones are rushing, the attraction is obviously there, one partner is obviously ready for it, when the other is apprehensive. It can lead to unwanted/unintended pressure to do things your not comfortable doing, or absolute WORSE case what if the guys doesn't take no for an answer?

Now I'm not saying that's going to happen, I'm just giving an example, if u aren't ready don't put urself in predicaments that can emotionally hurt u or worse. It's ok to kiss make out and all that but like anything one thing can lead to another and the last thing u want is regret out of a situation like that.

When ur ready u will know, just use protection when u do

if you're not sure, don't do anything sexual, not just sex, but other stuff too. don't let him pressure you until you feel confident and ready. and if you do, always use protection
