I'm a big advocate for natural unassisted child birth even though this is my first child. But don't be afraid to ask for the epidural and don't be upset at yourself if your birthplan goes out the window due to complications requiring an emergency c-section. The only thing that matters is the health of YOU and YOUR BABY. I repeat NOTHING MATTERS BUT YOUR HEALTH AND YOUR BABY. Dont be stubborn. You'll regret
