Solids at 20 weeks?

Why does glow think I'm feeding my 4 month old solids? Everything I've read and heard from professionals says 6 months before solids.

My daughters doctor said 4 months is fine to start solids as long as she has good head control

Maybe they don't adhere to the recent guidelines as it used to be from 4 months. I started my baby at 3-4 months and she loves her food so it's all about the individual really..,,

My daughter started solids at 4 months. My pediatrician gave us the go ahead at 4m because it can reduce risk of allergies. She also told us we could introduce a small amount of peanut butter, eggs, etc. at 6 months for the same reason.

I started baby at just a little before 5 months when he met all the "criteria" can sit well in a highchair, pushes food to the back of his mouth instead of out all the time, uses the pinscher grasp to grab things. He was wanting to feed every hour and a half.

My mother-in-law was also pushing me extremely hard to feed him since 3 months, unfortunately it got to the point where if i didn't start feeding him she was more than willing to with rice cereal, which i knew he wasn't ready for.

I just make sure to put probiotics in his food and started him off with Avacado because it is super digestible.

It all depends on how you feel the readiness of your baby eating. In the end it is still all about fun and learning to eat. He plays with the food and spoons more than he eats.
