dressing an infant for summer?

Question

It seems more simple than for winter, but I'm sitting here wondering what I need to get our little one for the summer? What shoes should I get him? Like little strap on sandels? We will be going to the beach in North Carolina and it will be super hot... I know hats and sun protection but just short sleeve bodies and comfy shorts?

I'm so used to dressing him for winter and now that the weather is getting warm... I want to get prepared

I live in south Florida so I have been dressing him for summer since he was born! Lol
Go for comfort! Your baby gets held A LOT and it's easy to over heat.

I love onesies with shorts for everyday. Definitely get a rash guard with his/her swimsuit. I would also get some hats and possibly shades as well. Only get shoes for cuteness :)

I love outfits but it's difficult to wear much with many layers because it's so warm. We do them in moderation! Honestly he wears onesies with he occasional accessory because of the heat.

I live in NC and will be hitting the beach. Shorts, onesies and rompers. Athing suit botyoms with rash guard top. I'm not doing shoes until he walks so waiting on that as I can't imagine he'll be walking before fall,  he still isn't sitting up.
