labor around the corner?!

I need some opinions or advice on if I'm going into labor anytime soon. I'm 39w 5d today and yesterday I had my prenatal appointment and measured 2cm and 80%. During the appointment we did a membrane sweep and then I woke up today and lost my mucus plug. Does this mean I will going to labor soon? Either on my due date or earlier!? I'm a ftm so any advice or opinions will help out!!

I've been losing mine for two weeks now.. it hasn't been a sign that labor is near for me.

I was losing bits of mine over the weekend, I told my midwife about it on Monday and she explained that the mucus plug can regenerate itself after you loose it. It's like skin where if it falls off it will grow back. It's not a bad thing, it's a sign of your body getting ready for labor.

I lost mine at 36w4d and I'm now 37w6d and still nothing😣 started getting contractions after that, and dilating but no baby!

With my first baby I lost my mucus plug 2 days before my due date and had my daughter the very next day
