Today I have my annual physical appointment, as I have recently become sexually active with my boyfriend of one year, I think birth control would be very beneficial. However, I'm not exactly sure what route to take at my appointment today. I've heard of the whole lying saying your period is so bad, but I feel like that won't garentee me further looking into the pill, I could see my mom and doctor just disregarding it. The doctor usually asks my mom to leave the room but of course I would have to consult her on it eventually.. I'm really just not sure how to go about it in the least awkward way possible- any advise?
