I feel like I'm not wrong here...
My boyfriend has been out of work for two weeks already. We live together and we usually split the bills down the middle. I don't mind if I have to foot an extra bill or whatever, we're together, so I'll take care of him through thick and thin.
But tell me, am I wrong for doing this?
I said well, look, if you're not going to work for now, then I expect you to clean and cook and take care of the house duties. And I'll pay for all the bills. I make a lot to take care of everything by myself.
He kinda got offended by it, and said something along the lines of " that's a woman's place", but before he could go on with that sexist shit, I stooped to his level and said " well if you wanna be the man then go find work! Now until you make some money, you can take care of everything at home while I make money." It shut him right up! And ever since, he's been doing everything around the house.
I can't complain, it's pretty nice to not do shit when I come home. Like I said, I don't feel wrong for it!
