Question ladies. My OB has referred me to an infertility specialist. The cost just for my first visit is minimum $300. Not sure I'm ready to pay that much. So my question is my dr said she can prescribe clomid but wants me to go to a specialist so they can take my husbands sperm and the clomid and put it in me that way. Would you push to get her to give me clomid and try it the natural way first before paying a ton of money for a medicine she can give me and my insurance will cover if she prescribes it vs. paying out of pocket at a specialist? Also I have had blood work, HSG, full internal ultrasound and everything looks good on that front. We are try for baby number two. First baby conceived in 30 days of just coming off BC. We have been trying for over an year now for number 2.
