Any other 4 month olds shrieking?

Wondering if anyone else's 4 month old shrieks? My lo does it mostly when she's tired. My husband said we shouldn't engage her when she does it if we want her to stop.

My son does happy/expressive and angry shrieking. The only way I can tell the difference is by looking at his face. Between that and his grumbles/creaks my husband calls him baby velociraptor.

I don't actively ignore them, but I don't get as instinctively excited about them as some of his other noises and I feel like he can tell. They definitely aren't as common and often have a very clear purpose when he does use them.

Mine just started today - to me, it's her learning how to use her voice, not something to be discouraged. Shriek away, little bird!

Haha yes, all day long. High pitches oohs ahhs and screetches at the top of her lungs. Lol just a happy baby!

Mine shrieks more when happy. We call her Tarzan baby. She clenches her fists and shrieks as loud as she can, thinks it's hysterical

Oh yeah. My baby just screams so high pitched when hes tired. Sometimes he wakes himself up and does this so we put him right back down. 
I personally never ignore his cries because we know that they mean now and he's telling us what is wrong. But it's definitely normal!
