Did/Does your mom talk to you about sex??

Curious about this one ladies. My mom was open but in an indirect way. Like if I asked questions, she would answer them but rarely initiated the conversation.

What about you?? And if she was/is open, were you comfortable talking w her about it?

My mom never gave me the sex talk or talked to me about my body or my period when I told her I was bleeding from down there in elementary school 6th grade she handed me a pad and that was it. Both my parents made me fear of coming to them with any questions or if they found out I was sexually active. I never knew what age was and wasn't okay to have sex so I had sex at 13 and it was horrible and I totally regret it. I learned about my body, sex, & periods from the internet or from friends which is hella sad. I wish I had this app when I was younger and if I know what I know now I would definitely would have waited to have sex.

My mum was kind of forced into giving the talk because my sister had sex with her boyfriend. She was indirect as well didn't really go into detail but said that she would always be there if we ever needed to talk or help

Yes! And I'm so glad. I felt educated by the time I actually decided to have sex. I feel like I can talk to her about (almost) everything and I'm so grateful.

My mom was pretty open with answering my questions. I always felt comfortable talking to her and asking questions, and even the things at school I heard, I would bring it up to her to ask what it was. When I started having sex with my boyfriend, I went to her and she even gave me some tips when we drank together 😂 we've always been close, and I never felt awkward with asking her questions. My dad is a different story, haha. My dad was more about the physical part of sex. "Penis into vagina" kinda straightforward. But my mom put that it's an emotional thing, as well as a physical thing.
