Is the "pull out meathod" a type of birth control? & does anyone know how effective it is?

No it isn't considered a form of birth control. As for how effective it is, I have used it for over a year and I had my share of pregnancy scares.. which is why I'll be getting on real BC soon hopefully!

This is what i got from the doctor. It is, it just isnt reliable and shouldnt really be relied upon

It technically is I think? But it's not a great method to try. Because it will depend on some factors. For example- a guy can not be able to pull out in time lol or his pre cum will have sperm in it. So let's assume he can effectively pull out.. then it depends on if his pre cum has live sperm in it- which there is no substantial evidence to prove that all or no men do or don't! So it's better to be safe than sorry and use a condom unless you can take the consequence of getting pregnant. I heard that as long as a guy pees after cumming - his pre cum won't have live sperm BUT there has been little research done so *shrug* GOODLUCK! The pull out method has worked for some but not for others .. sooo idk lol
