heart palpitations... how do you get rid of them?

😞i usually get them when im thirsty and i need water... or on my period when i lose blood on my period.... 😕

You can't, not without medication.

There are some things that might help - deep breathing/meditation, don't drink energy drinks, don't drink coffee, limit caffeine in general.

But beta blockers are the main treatment. You would need to see your doctor.

Ive had one my whole life i have 3 beats never had an issue healthy as a horse the only thing mine correlates to is my eye birth defect called bilateral coloboma my moms side of the family has them and murmurs my uncle is the only one that i know of that has a pacemaker

When I get it I try to go somewhere and rest or lay down. Relaxing and calming yourself makes them go away fast at least for me. Oh and I drink cold water

Heart palpitations can be caused by stress and too much caffeine (my cardiology prof loves to inform us about this fact when we're stressed about an exam- you get really weird readings on ECG heart monitors due to vet students drinking too much coffee while stressed). So if you're a heavy coffee drinker cutback if you can. If you're stressed try finding ways to relax more. Otherwise there's not really a lot you can do without medication. If you're worried please see a doctor (I'd suggest seeing one anyways since it shows up with your period regularly)- they'll be able to make sure there's not an underlying condition. But there's lots of people with heart palpations/irregularities that will go their hole lives without it being an issue.
