I went to my obgyn to remove my old nexplonon and put a new one in. My obgyn was so incredibly fast and she was so awesome! My fist nexplonon was done in Arizona and she put it very deep into my arm and at an angle in my arm so I was in constant nerve pain for 3 years. As soon as my new obgyn (Texas) took the old one out it was an instant relief. The new one is now in the correct spot and feels a heck of a lot better too (aka I can't feel it and no more pain)! I highly recommend nexplonon to everyone. Yes I did gain some weight with this however I gained it when it was about 6 months before expiring. My hope is it will drop back down now that I have the new one in! The only side effects I have had with getting the Nexplonon is the weight gain at the end and the no periods really. I do have an actual cycle every 4 months other then that it's light spotting for 2 days once a month and gone again! So I have no complaints here!
