gender reveal/baby shower? when is the best time

Hi ladies just wondering when you chose to do a gender reveal and or baby shower and did you do both? And was there anything you wish you did differently? Sorry for all the questions

We find out tomorrow what we are having. We are only doing a small gender reveal for my husband's family because this is his first baby. I have a daughter from a previous marriage so with my family since theirs a lot of kids already we are just telling them after the gender reveal. Baby shower ours will be in early July only because we can't in June due to our daughter's graduation amount other things we have planned already.

Didn't do a gender reveal, we just told everyone after our anatomy scan. But I'm having my baby shower at 26 weeks. I like to be organised so doing it at 26 weeks will give me plenty of time to sort out the rest of the stuff we need but don't get at the shower :)

We didn't do a gender reveal party. But we announced the gender on social media and what not At like 22 weeks and my mom is actually planning a surprise baby shower but I'm pretty sure that it's next weekend and I'll be 31 weeks.
