Trapped gas

Hello ladies...has anyone dealt with trapped gas and pain? Pain like you have a dagger in under your ribs and pushing through to your back? 😫 Last night I got about 2 hours of sleep total because of brutal gas pain. I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I was close to tears trying everything I could (laying with my bum up, walking around, trying to use the toilet with legs propped up, hubby massaging my back) and nothing helped! Eventually around 5am it seemed to go away or at least lessen to the point I could get some sleep. Any tips?! TIA!
