Just curious!  Excited to start but my lo isn't ready yet!

Yes! Doctor recommended he start on baby food because he is very advanced at 4 months and they saw no problem with it! No rice cereal as he doesn't like it and it's just empty calories but we are trying out all the gerber first foods and it's going great so far! His face just lights up!

Nope, we are following the AAP and WHO recommendations, but I am super excited, too. Just a couple more months!

I want to because my little one is always eating but I'm waiting until his 4 month appointment so his peditrician can tell me too!

We're planning on waiting until at least 6 months or until she's sitting unsupported and showing interest in food. Her doctor had said at her 2 month appointment to consider starting cereal mixed with breast milk at 3.5-4 months but I don't think she's ready yet. I've done a lot of research on the topic and though I love our pedi and very much respect his recommendations, I don't think it'll do any harm to wait a little longer. We'll talk to him about it again on Monday (her 4 month checkup, can't even believe it!).

I definitely think my baby is ready. Sits up almost unsupported, makes back and forth motions with her tongue, chews on everything, tries to take my food... but I'm super paranoid so not sure I'll start her until at least five months.

At my daughters 4 month appointment, her pediatrician gave us the go ahead. I make her baby food myself; so far she's tried sweet potato, bananas, and carrots.

Yes, my son has bad reflux and won't keep formula or breast milk down but does great on baby food.

Will be asking our dr at 4 month appt. The day after the appt she will be 5 months old but she's pretty advanced with her strength and all so we shall see what dr says
