on clomid even though I ovulate?

I trust my doctors office.... but now they want to put me in clomid even though I get positive OPKs. Anyone else in this boat?  Will it help me release stronger and healthier eggs?  Thanks in advance!

Im I the UK so we have so we have to have blood work done for a year and test repeated and all my blood work showed my ovulation was fine . after 2 years I got my referral and my bloods were OK and I've had positive ovpk to but after my hsg they put me on clomid. I'm now in my 2 ww of my first cycle of 50 mg. I've had a follicle tracking scan and had 2 good follicles on the right side and my womb pinning was 9mm . so fingers crossed cc if after 6 months it hasn't worked we will be eligible for ivf xx good luck to you xxx

Good luck! I ovulate and get my period every month. But after a year ttc, doc prescribed low dose clomid. Currently on my 5th cycle of 50mg praying for a late Christmas present 😍
