What did you use for your babies-

Question

-when they became to old too swaddle?

I know there's a warning on the blankets and swaddle sacks that say something about not doing it once baby can roll over or something (it's 12:48am and I'm sitting in the dark waiting for my baby to digest her food before I can lay her in her bassinet so I can't check the warning rn lol).
So what are we supposed to use after that? She can roll over already but it's not often or anything. She just doesn't have full understanding of her hands/arms yet so they wake her up when she dreams!!

Zipadeezip. They can roll safely in it. It's a swaddle transition, but also a wearable blanket. My baby loves it still.

With my daughter she was always swaddled even after she started rolling over I only stopped when she started kicking her way out of it. I believe she was so use to being swaddled while in the nicu and when she came home that it didn't bother her much she never cried getting swaddled and I've seen babies that cry constantly from being swaddled. As soon as she was able to get out on her own I just let her take off.

My guy can't roll yet - but we use the halo sleep sack and we can swaddle him with arms in or out.

It was around the 2-3months mark, when the blankets were gradually getting used. Because we live in North Queensland, Australia. We kept using blankets until he didn't want too, as in he just kept kicking the blanket of him. So we just kept it off him, but some nights we would put one over him. If he wants it off, he can take it off.

My son started refusing a swaddle at around 4 months. Then at 5+ months he put himself to sleep. We honestly just let him do it himself. Once he started rolling over it seemed like a swaddle was to constricting for him so he'd get frustrated anyway. Some babiesvswaddle till 8+ months no problems. I would use a blanket to swaddle though, they're easier for babies to get out of if they're older so I don't worry as much.
