morning sickness = healthy pregnancy???

Just read online that a study showed that women who experience morning sickness during their pregnancy is more likely to have a healthy pregnancy and has a lower MC rate??? Anyone else ever heard of this??

Depends what they define as morning sickness. It can range from consistent mild nausea to throwing up all day. I have mild to medium nausea most days but am yet to throw up at 8 weeks. Would rather not throw up at all haha

Not really. I had hyperemesis gravidarum(severe morning sickness) and lost our baby at 14.6 weeks.

My mother did not have any morning sickness with myself and my brother and both her pregnancies were fine. Everyone is different and not everyone has morning sickness, that doesn't mean you will misscarry. My mother in law also had four healthy pregnancies with no morning sickness as well.

I have read that as well. However, clearly there is also a major genetic and/or biological factor as well. I'm almost 26 weeks now with a healthy boy and never had any morning sickness whatsover and very mild symptoms all around. My SIL had serious morning sickness daily and ended up having a miscarriage at 9 weeks : (
