Dinosaur fun fact!!

I just though someone would enjoy a fun fact for the day! I work for a museum and learned this from our paleontologist today! Did you know that the famous Velociraptors in Jurassic Park are actually more like Utah raptors?! A Velociraptor is actually only as tall as a Tom turkey. Much longer, more muscular, and much more terrifying though! When they were making Jurassic Park they believed they were inventing a new dinosaur. It wasn't until a year after the movie came out that they discovered the Utah raptor which is much closer to the raptors in the movie, size wise. Utah raptors are believed to have been feathered though! 😊
