BABIES LAST NAME
Why is it normal to give the baby that I grew for 9 months, ruined my body, and now must raise for 18 years, my mans last name? I love my boyfriend but I don't think it's necessary to give my baby his last name...I have a unique VERY old family name(Weil) with a sturdy family tree.... am I wrong for feeling this way?
I should also add that we have only been together for three months. I've never been one to follow the steps that society thinks i should follow so there is no thought of marriage as of yet.
Sorry that my wording is too "harsh" for those of you that must not feel that I am grateful for this child.
