My understanding is that it helps thin your cervix but does not help induce labor. I have been drinking it everyday for a few weeks (38w2d today) because I like my cervix like my pizza crust - thin! 😊🍕 best of luck!

I started drinking that same one at about 34 weeks. It never caused me to have contractions or anything like that and I had absolutely no signs that labor was near even at 39.6. But I ended up delivering my first baby on my due date and labor from start to finish was about five hours so I'm thinking it did its job of toning my uterus and making my contractions count!

I started drinking it at 29 weeks at my 33 week scan my cervix was 1.5cm and funnelled, after every cup i did have contractions so i think it was doing something? Im currently 36 weeks (i stoped drinking it for a few weeks as i didnt want a premmie baby)  With my first baby i went to 41 weeks with no changes to cervix until d date.

I actually started drinking that tea around 28 weeks. I didn't drink any last week when my daughter was born but I had braxton hicks religiously for weeks while at work and even at the weekly appts. She was born 2 days late on the 8th at 40 weeks. My labor was 10 hours total. I want to attribute it to this tea but this is my first baby. Hope this helps!

I was drinking it for 2 weeks, 2 times a day and nothing happened so I stopped. I've read it can actually make you go over your due date...
