Vicks on babies feet?

Ok my son is 5 Months and started coughing. Hit the google doesn't sound like whooping cough or anything but mini congestion. I read on other blogs that u can put Vicks on your baby feet and it works,coughing stops. Has anyone tried this? If so please share your experience

I would only do a little dab on their feet covered with socks, Vicks is known to stop babies from breathing and cause horrible rashes. Eucalyptus oil also has a carrier oil in it that can cause respiratory illness such as asthma.

You can only use baby Vicks, not regular in kids that young. And I didn't find it to work at all. We had better luck with a humidifier and elevating her head.

I no we can't believe everything on the internet but I read a story where baby died from Vicks. Make sure it's the baby one.

We did it but I didn't notice a difference. Use the baby vicks not adult kind.

I do it all the time and it works for my now 2yr old start when he was around the same age.. I put the vicks on the put a pair of sox on over it
