pacifier and nursing to sleep

My 4 day old baby will not fall asleep on her own without nursing. She'll nurse and then fall asleep during, I set her down and she wakes up. She DOES NOT need to be nursed anymore after 5 feeding sessions in less than two hours. I tried giving her a pacifier in hopes it was maybe just the sucking motion will put her to sleep and I take it away when she falls into a deep sleep it seems. It seemed to work, but only for about 10 minutes before she was crying me awake again. I don't really want to leave her with the binky while sleeping. But I don't know what else to do. I'm tired. Any thoughts?
