Pain across stomach, but no contractions?

Yesterday morning I drank raspberry leaf tea before doing some yard work. After that around lunch time I had a few painful contractions. Today I thought if I drank some strong tea and did house work I could bring on the contractions again. So far I haven't had any, only sharp pains across my abdomen. I don't think these are contractions since there is no tightening with them.
