How are you getting your HCG levels??

I'm 10 weeks and I've been to the OB 3 times and had a blood test and urine test. They never once talked about my hcg levels and I forgot to ask. How are you finding out your levels?? Do I need to ask specifically for them or is no news good news??! Just curious. First timer here!

The only reason they checked mine was cause of a precious chemical pregnancy and that I had lower progesterone. All they were doing was checking if the pregnancy was viable. Once they got above 5000 they stopped checking them and sent me for an ultrasound to determine viability! I would say no need to if you haven't had any previous issues!

I never had HCG levels drawn with this pregnancy (I'm 20 weeks). If you're pregnant, you're pregnant.

You can ask for them. But they really only matter if they're going down or not moving.

They called and told me my numbers. I don't remember what they were but they said that they looked very good.

They've never told me what my hcg levels were either so I just take that as a good sign lol. Almost 14 weeks here

A lot of women on here have trouble conceiving or problems with previous miscarriage(s) & they will check those HCG levels to make sure they are doubling every 2-3 days . You can always ask if you'd like to know ! It's just an indicatior that your pregnancy is progressing as it should !
