100.2 fever 4 days PP, is it mastitis?

Question

My milk just came in today and I am heavily engorged. I'm not BF due to other issues. I know they said to call the doctor if it gets to 101.4 or higher, is it ok to take ibuprofen?
 
It's been 100.2/100.3. Is that due to my milk coming in or an actual infection? Also having sinus/slight cold issues so idk if it could be that either.

I would hand express for relief. If it's not red, it's most likely not mastitis. Could be a clogged duct. I've had that twice and was in a lot of pain. I massaged and also took motrin/or one of my pills from Csection. Are you going to breast feed at all? If not, I would start taking cold meds (ones that dry up mucus) to dry up milk. Cabbage leaves are also supposed to help dry up milk. If you're not planning on bf, then I would make sure to only express enough milk to be comfortable as you don't want to make you body produce more.

Tylenol would be better as it is also a fever reducer, try to hand express if you are uncomfortable, fever could be from your virus.

Are your breast hot/warm to the touch? They are probably site because they are full but if they are sore and warm to the touch it could be an infection any discharge from them?
