Please help

I woke up this morning and was cuddling with my 15 month old in bed. We were staying at our cabin up north and I have her monitor propped up on a lamp during the night. Well, in the morning I turned the light on and the monitor must have slipped onto the bulb. I began smelling something off but ignored it. When it got worse I figured it was just the heater kicking on. Well, it took about ten minutes for me to realize that I had been sitting there with her, breathing melting plastic fumes. I've been a crazy mess all day. I'm convinced I've given my daughter and unborn baby cancer or something. I can't stop googling. I plan to call the dr tomorrow. But I just don't know what to do to stop freaking out. Neither of us had any reaction to the smell. There was little to no smoke. But I'm still so freaked out.
