Hey everyone I'm new here! Married, almost 26.. was previously on Mirena from Oct 2011-Oct 2016. Got my first depo shot then, a second one in Dec, and now about to get my third. I resorted to Depo because I had lost my job and insurance and couldn't afford anything else and life is too hectic for me to remember a pill. I have not had a period whatsoever which I know is common on Depo (I used it as my first form at age 16-17) but I've had a serious problem with brown discharge. Sometimes it's watery, most times it's in clots. It's annoying during sex. Has anyone else experienced this and overcome it? I'm going back on an IUD after this shot because I'll have insurance but in the mean time I'd like to minimize the discharge. Douching is not an option for me.
