Can you use one from birth and up?

It depends on the seat. Most of them go to at least 60. We have one that goes from 5lb-120lb. My step daughter has one that goes to 40lbs.

You can find ones that say they will rear-face, front-face, then convert to a booster. Nothing wrong with getting one to read and front face. A booster option isn't that big of a bonus to me. A plain booster isn't terribly expensive. Car seats get gross over the years too. We used an infant carrier then moved on to our convertible seat. We plan on getting a front-facing seat later this year so we can use the convertible seats for our son after he gets out the infant carrier.

Yeah I seen of that went from 5lbs to 65lbs I want to just buy that instead of that and infant car seat! So many people say it's nice having the infant one to carry them in and out of car
