Born and raised in Minnesota. We are happy to raise our kids near family but the winters are too cold/long for us. Quality of life in terms of education and healthcare etc is very good though. We'll likely move when the kids get older!

We live in NC and absolutely love it. I grew up in NJ and my husband grew up in NY and nothing compares to living in NC.
