Today I went to the gynecologist for the first time! (I'm 17 btw)

I had a yeast infection a month ago and took the treatment but I was still feeling a lot of itching.

I felt really comfortable! Never had a such a pleasant experience during a doctor's visit😊

I have another appointment in two weeks to get the results but I'd like to talk to the gyno about other issues such as STIs or birth control, since I am sexually active (I already told her so). The thing is that my mom will be there with me...

How can I do it? If I ask her for regular visits she might want to know the reason...
