Just needing advice/venting
When I envisioned myself havin my first baby I figured I'd be a lot more prepared than I am now. All I have for the baby are clothes (haven't had baby shower yet, it's this weekend but only about 20 ppl will be there because my boyfriends family isn't attending) My friend who is planning the shower sent the invites out without including the registry so I'm assuming most of the gifts we'll get will be more clothes. We live in an extremely tiny one bedroom NY apartment that we were supposed to be out of by now so the things I planned on stockpiling I can't buy because we don't have the space. There's no space for a crib/bassinet and I'm strongly against co-sleeping. My boyfriend has been really nonchalant about everything during the whole pregnancy, he's excited for the baby but as far as getting things he could care less. The baby could sleep in a laundry basket for all he cares, he thinks half the stuff I plan on buying is unnecessary and the closer I get to my due date the more frustrated I'm getting. (35w) He literally said today the baby is due in April why would we get a crib in March? 🤦🏽♀️ I'm so scared that my baby is gonna come early and we won't be prepared which is makin me irritable and putting a huge strain on our relationship because he just doesn't get it. I can't be the only one going through this! Advice would be appreciated because I'm practically miserable.
