"basic fetus"
Ok so I am African American and super dark. Well when I was looking for a dope pregnancy app the other week I noticed that every app had one thing in common they all featured the basic "pink" fetus. Bare with me I am not making this a race war just saying this is an example of privilege. I have other examples but for the sake of glow imma keep it about baby fetuses. So I go through maybe 7 different apps so my fav is nurture by glow so I simply sent them an email and. Got this back
I was very pleased and very excited and with all the different people around the world that use this app Glow may be the first pregnancy app to feature an alternate fetus skin color. Which is only fair because if your someone like me who is DARK a pink fetus isn't ideal. You want the features you know and love. I know some one will say babies are born pink or whatever but that's not the point and that's part of the problem. Thank you again Glow I am really excited to see what happens!
