How did you ladies tell your husband?

Just wondering how you ladies told your hubbies about your BFP? Any special stories surprises? We are ttc and I was just curious on how I will tell him when the big day happens! Thank you!

I got him a card that was blank inside and glued a lentil on the inside of it. I wrote "This is how big our baby is right now" because I was around 6 weeks and he loved it.

I didn't get to tell my hubby because in November I got really sick and I couldn't eat or drink anything and was vomiting for 3 days straight. So one night he said iam taking you to the hospital at first I said no, then he kept on so I said will you shut up if I go he said yeah. So I went and the doctor asked my hubby if he was the husband he said yeah and shook his hand and mine and said congrats we were confused and he said you're pregnant! We were in shock and he paced the room for like 30 mins couldn't get full sentences out. I couldn't believe it so the next day I got a test and yup sure was positive. It was the same hospital that we met in and found out we were pregnant so it's neat how it turned out.

We had been ttc for 3 years when we conceived my first. My DH was at work and I got up and did my usual 13DPO test (I have a progesterone deficiency so I checked every cycle). When it came back positive I was so excited I didn't know what to do. I needed to tell some one, but knew DH should be the first to know, so I texted him a picture of the pee stick. He phoned me an hour later and was like "is that...? What? Are we?" He couldn't even finish his sentence! So cute.

I bought a blanket, that sat in a box for four months until we got our BFP! And I was so excited to give it to him, but the night I found out our dog had tore up trash all through our house so he came home to me crying and telling him how frustrated I was with the dog and that with a baby coming we needed to really get on training our dog.

I found out a few weeks before Christmas. So I took an empty jewelry box for a bracelet from my work (Macy's) and put the pregnancy test inside of it. I left it on the counter wrapped in Christmas paper until my boyfriend noticed it. Later that night he saw it and opened it and was so excited.

I painted a card ahead of time that read "bring on the dad jokes," and the morning I got a positive test I clipped it to our dog's collar and let her in the bedroom. She jumped up on the bed and woke him.

Before I got pregnant I was always online looking for ideas just in case the day came. And when it finally came I was too excited and I burst out of the bathroom with the test and yelled at him "I'm pregnant"!
