I just started the compounded progesterone my RE ordered for me through a pharmacy who mailed them to me. They are not suppositories, but capsules with a powder in them. It is compounded and I am supposed to insert them vaginally. I am confused about them not being suppositories. I have been using them since Saturday, but I don't feel like I am getting them far enough up, even though I put it as far as I can with my finger as there is no applicator. They are not dissolving completely either, even after lying down for two hours. I was sitting with my legs up for an hour and a half tonight and I had to go to the bathroom really bad. When I went about half of the capsule came out. Has anyone else used these? How do I know enough absorbed in my body? I am getting my progesterone blood test tomorrow. I will ask my RE's office about the suppositories then, but I am concerned now.
