In-laws...?

So I haven't been close to my in-laws since my wedding because they basically did their best to make it as miserable as they could for me until I completely cut them off from all wedding related things. Now it's my husbands birthday and as mentioned in a previous post I caught a bit of attitude for having a surprise date planned for just my husband and I for his actual birthday-day. Well I planned a surprise BBQ for his birthday on Sunday with 6 days notice, which isn't great, I know, but they literally are the definition of short notice lol. Like literally they threw a BS bridal shower together for me pretty much with three days notice so literally none of my friends could go or even my mom because she was working. Anyways I let them know about the BBQ and I only got a yeah we'll be there from the brother, no response from his wife (who slid a "things  don't always happen like we hope" at me when I didn't read minds and throw something this past weekend before his birthday and mentioned doing something this weekend instead), and an I can't make it I already have plans from his sister. She then proceeded to tell me not to worry because she'll make it up to him. If she throws him a whole other party - I wouldn't put it past her, she told me no basically last year after I planned his party and then had to cancel it because of her and then she planned her own "surprise party" for him where she invited her friends who didn't even know it was his birthday and none of his friends - I would be mad. Anyways, I know this post is long af but I'm curious...would this drive you insane?! I'm pretty sure they don't even like me anymore and I'm nice af lol like too nice sometimes so it's just dumb. *vent finished*
