Mine was found in 2009 when I was pregnant with my 1st, It didn't go away on its own. I had a leep in 2014, have been clear since.

From what I understand of HPV, it is something that needs to be treated. However, I'm not very familiar with it either. I *think* it's a virus that can cause cancer... I know doctors are now vaccinating adolescents for HPV. I can't say I know much more about it than that. I'm sorry. I would recommend talking to a doctor if you, or someone you know suspects they may have it. I assume if there has been a diagnosis, they've already talked to a doctor, and gone over treatment plans.
