Doctor said I measured two weeks behind? Normal?

Ok so at my last appt I was 29 weeks. The doctor pulled out a tape measure type thing and said I was measuring at only 27 weeks!!!! Many people comment on how small my bump is and it makes me worried. The doctor wasn't worried though. Is baby girl going to be small? This is me at 30 weeks.

It's perfectly ok for baby to measure 2 weeks ahead or behind.  It could simply be how baby is laying. I was told anymore than that is a concern

I think it's normal but i also think doctors are a little neglectful when it comes to this. All of a sudden in the middle of my pregnancy we were scheduled to find out the sex of our baby and they said I was measuring 18 weeks not 20.

I always wondered if they got it wrong and my son was really born at 40 weeks and not 38 weeks. Lol

I measured two weeks behind with my son pretty much the entire time. He was born 9lbs. If your doctor isn't too worried, I wouldn't stress yourself out over it! Baby is likely to be just fine. ☺
