Are diaper genies/pails necessary?

Id have one in every room if I could lol. So much more convenient and they take care of the smells as well. Idk how people do it without it

my Mom got us the Ubbi stainless steel diaper pail. I didn't want plastic because it retains the stink. We are cloth diapering, and I am hoping that with the PUL diaper bag inside, it will keep nice for a long time to come.

I had a diaper genie gave to me by my sister in law. Have yet to use it, but I'm happy I have one lol

Thanks for asking! Was just debating as well. I'm going to buy a used one so don't spend as much to see if we need it. I still want to cloth diaper too so not sure for for $10, I figure it can't hurt to have a diaper genie just in case!
