Stomach for sure. I think it puts a comforting amount of pressure on my abdomen that helps the cramping lol.

I try to sleep on my back with my period but.. 1.) my boobs are way too sore for that  2.) it makes my cramps worse
So then
I try to sleep on my stomach and.. 1.) it made the heat pad burn my skin  2.) I turned off the hot pad but then my cramps get worse
So then
I try to sleep on my side and 1.) the hot pad won't stay in the right place so 2.) my cramps are worse
So then
I take a bath and don't get any actual rest.
