Bronchitis during pregnancy??

Question

So I think I have bronchitis. Has anyone gotten this while pregnant? What did you do? Can I get antibiotics or should I just let it be? I'm afraid of developing pneumonia.

Definitely go to the doctor! I had bronchitis at about 20 weeks, I was sick for over a month! The only thing the Dr prescribed was an inhaler and a short dose of prednisone. It helped alot and the inhaler was a life saver. I also ate alot of popsicles! It helped my throat and to relieve the cough. And it felt like I was eating something when I really didn't want to. Definitely drink lots of water too! Hope you feel better!!!

I had bronchitis at 40 weeks and was induced at 41 with it. I coughed and coughed while in labor and throughout pushing and wasn't allowed any medication for it. Post delivery was rough with the pain and the coughing but me and baby were and are fine. They didn't do anything for it.
