Diva cup/menstrual cup help??

Question

Can someone please explain to me the "logistics" of cleaning your diva/menstrual cup? specifically in a public restroom? do you literally wipe your butt, leave the stall, rinse the cup in the sink, and go back in the stall? I'm so confused because I've never seen anyone do this...

I usually make sure I can use a bathroom with a sink in the same room, but if that's not an option, I carry cotton balls, wet wipes, and a cleaning solution.  Remove cup, dump, soak up excess with cotton balls, clean, replace, and wipe up before you exit the stall to wash your hands.  Just try to find cotton balls that don't leave a bunch of fibers all over your cup!
