Those of you with BMI of 29 pre-pregnancy, how much did you gain by 20 weeks?

I would like to know how much you gained by your 20th week of pregnancy if you're willing to share. 😊 thank you! BMI of 29 so it's women who were around my weight pre-pregnancy.

BMI isn't a good way to check you health or  weight... it doesn't count muscular mass... you should remember you weight and start taking pictures before and during your pregnancy... it's easier to compare the chamges of your body... I was 130 lbs on 5f1 before my pregnancy now I'm 126 lbs and 11 weeks pregnant but my body looks really different than from the beginning... try not to stress with the weight gain or loss. As long as you feel healthy and good in your body is the most important thing :) you go girl   1st pic : 2 weeks before BFP

My BMI was 31 prepregnancy and by 20w I had lost 17lbs because I was so sick. 29w now and I've only gained 7lbs of that back.
My Dr doesn't go by BMI however, because it's not really the best way to really track your health. I have a strong bone structure, 5'9" and 220lbs, but I'm actually well proportioned and in good health. It depends on the person.
I would just follow your OBs guidance, every woman and every pregnancy is different!

I had a BMI of 30 pre-pregnancy. I barely gained anything in the first half of my pregnancy - less than 5lbs in 20 weeks. Now I'm 32 weeks and up 33lbs total.

My BMI was 26 (sorry, not exactly what you're asking for) and I gained 3-4lbs by 20w.
