How long was your maternity leave from your students?

My maternity leave just started and I'll be out the rest of the school year. I planned it perfectly without realizing it lol with leave and the summer I'll be home for 5 months with my LO.

I’m due at the very end of the summer. So my maternity leave will be the PD week at the beginning of the year and then the first 11 weeks of school.

I tried for the end of the year + summer. Didn’t work. I had my baby Oct 2016, returned after Christmas break. 
It was about 11 weeks. So hard. I cried everyday on the way to school until about March and then I was just in “finish this year” mode. I would love to take off a school year if I have another.
