This sounds weird but I put breast milk and it worked. If you're uncomfortable doing that try coconut oil.

When my LO had cradle cap, I would let him play in the tub and soak his head in baby oil. Then i would take a soft bristle baby brush or toothbrush and come back and forth. Did it for a week and haven't had issues since.

I put coconut oil, left it on the affected area for 15 min & used a little brush to get it out. Took her a bath and it was gone completely.
