I used to have extremely heavy periods (needed both tampons and pads to stop leakage and even then within the hour sometimes I still leaked, bedtime was a nightmare etc) then I moved country for my job and my periods messed up completely for the first 4 months they were lasting 2 weeks, spotting until October and they've been a lot more predictable. I use OPKs and I have a luteal phase of 14 days exactly every month so the doctor seems to think it's a sure sign I'm ovulating and my blood tests for PCOS were all normal except one hormone so he wants to send for an ultrasound and 21 day blood testing. What would be the reason for a flow change? Tmi but I don't even need to use both anymore and my period flow wouldn't even fill a maxi pad anymore.
